"This was my 9th grade picture, taken when I was 14. It was my first day of freshman orientation, and I had no idea they were going to be taking my picture until that morning (my mom was out of town and couldn't help me get ready either). So, this picture displays an attire and look of my own choosing: frizzy, limp hair (complete with the bangs I refused to grow out -- I thought my forehead was ugly), glasses that seemed to split my eyes in half, my retainer (which I could've taken out!) and my very, VERY old t-shirt whose graphic was peeling off at the time. I also need to draw attention to the necklace, which contained a piece of rice with my name on it that I bought from some kiosk in Myrtle Beach. It was the only piece of jewelry I owned. All of that, plus the fact that you can tell how nervous I was about starting high school." --Bailey
"My parents are natives of Los Angeles and therefore lifelong Dodgers fans, which means I have been a Dodgers fan too since I've known what baseball is. This was my kindergarten/first grade backpack and I'm loving the 80's style pointy-collared polo shirt (it probably had some sort of cheesy Hawaiian design on it). I'm kind of surprised I'm not holding up a Ghostbusters or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles backpack, because at that age I was WAY more into those things than baseball." --Will
"I was the quiet, introverted, nerdy girl in high school who always wore the big glasses, had big hair, and a big gap between my front teeth (you can see here). This picture was taken with my two best friends celebrating my 19th birthday... all I managed to lose was the big glasses." --Tina
"I was around 14 years old when this was taken. I was with my friend Ann at her parents' vacation home in June Lake, CA. I was holding her pet rat. I had braces, freckles, and short hair. Regardless, check out that hairdo. It is a feat of awkwardness. I promise that no one else was sporting this style. The astute observer may also notice the multi-buttoned polo shirt. All the guys wanted me. Oh yeah. Also, I had no boobs. Boy or girl, you ask? So did many others. The city bus ride home was always a source of joy." --Heather
"The before pic was taken when I was 10 years old in Deerfield, Illinois. It was a family get together and I loved playing my accordion and singing along with it.... When I was grown up, married and had two children I began singing again. It grew into my recording two albums and working on getting a recording contract." --Carol
